Tips for sending newletter emails and avoiding getting caught up in spam filters

There are a few things you can do to make your legitimate marketing email look less spammy:

– Don’t email yourself. Put your recipients into the ‘BCC’ field so they don’t see eachother’s email addresses, but don’t put anything in to ‘To’ field.
– Use your outgoing mail server, not your ISP’s. – smtp.yourdomain.com or mail.yourdomain.com is generally looked upon more favourably by other Mail Servers than the mail server provided by your ISP server. Your local IT can help you with this or ask us via our contact page…
– Revise your content for anything that looks spammy.

There will always be bounce backs with newsletters, its the nature of the game, but the above pointers can help.
